I am just in the process of building the Dennis Bryant Fiesler Storch and converting it to electric also. The build is from a set of plans, so everything has to be scatch built. All is going well, but I am having some problems with the struts, specifically the jury strut. The main struts are not a problem, and the connection at wing and fuz is straight forward. The connection of the jury strut to the main strut is also fairly straightforward. The problem I'm having is how the jury strut connects to the wing. Nothing is shown on the plans other than the shape and size of the jury strut. Has anyone built one of these, and how did you connect the jury strut to the wing? Hope anyone can help. Thanks in advance. |
