Parkzone Combat Modules

Has anyone yet seen or tried the new Parkzone combat modules? Two piece system, a Sonic Combat Adapter and a Sonic Combat Module. Under $35 for both of them on Parkzones web page.

The adapter plugs into an open switched channel on your receiver (say, Ch 5) and connects into your ESC motor control. The module mounts to the outside of the plane. When activated, it fires a short burst of sonic energy up to 80 feet. If you're lined up on your opponents plane (similarly equipped, of course) it kills the throttle for either 3 or 10 seconds (ad says 3, website says 10) while still allowing full flight control.

This could be fun!

sounds like it would be a blast. as long as you stay high enough, and i wonder just how takeoffs and landings would be effected.

would be nice if they had a counter or something on them so when you got back on the ground you could see exactly how many times you had been "hit".
