What is meant by servo time ?

I've trying to learn about gyros and stabilization for an airplane I'm thinking about.

What to they mean when a gyros specs say it supports digital servos
of;1520us, 760us and 960us.

What would happen if a incorrect servo or a analog servo was used?

I do not need anything remotely close to the speed a gyro must operate at in a 3D heli

IIRC, that speed setting is called the frame rate. Its basically how fast the servo can be up-dated by the gyro. For 3D helis, you need FAST!

You dont need fast. Most gyros have an analogue or non-digital setting on them. In that mode an analogue servo or non-gyro digital should work fast enough for what you want to do.
