It does work (I know for sure since I've used it on my Windows 7 system). However, there are some tweaks you (may) need to make. Here's a thread on the topic:

I haven't had any real problems with FMS on Win7 either.
But it's probably worth you trying RCDeskPilot for free (just Google it). It's newer so is generally easier to set up on recent operating systems. And there's also Clearview SE though that is only free with one model then you have to start paying for additional models. BTW there is a specific "Simulators" forum just down the page a bit, you might get other answers in there. Steve |

I wonder if it'll work in Linux? I've got a Desktop with Ubuntu 12.04 installed, saw a few online freebies, I tried one last night, but it seems to want to speak only in French, and without a controller, whatever you're trying to fly just either soars off into oblivion, or crashes. Computer keyboards are NOT condusive to R.C. Flight by any means. "Q" key is throttle, and cursor keys are up/down/left/right, and not very sensitive...
