Hopefully here are pics of my Stryker undercarriage setup. Mains are bent to go thru skids and across the wing ply spars. Front uses the existing wheel pant with some epoxy and a right angle into the main body. so far so good, but I try to always land on the mains first.

If I am reading you correctly, I think you made the landing gear out of bent control rods. Correct?
If so they may work OK on a real smooth landing, but may bend on a hard landing. I would recommend using the high strength wire available at hobby shops. Looks nice, and it is safer. Welcome to Wattflyer ! |

anybody else do something like this? i have a stryker on the way and would like to do this mod but with something that is removeable so when i need to belly land.
