Default Hobby King Vampire 100 paint match

I've found that Model Master's Acryl paint in "Silver" is a decent match for the silver color on Hobby King's DH Vampire 100. It's #4678 and cleans with water.

That's interesting as all the foam jobs I have - when you show acryl paint to them - the old paint lifts and spoils. I had to remove all paint before I could use the replacement acryl artists paint. To be honest I don't know where the factories get btheir paint from but its'terrible stuff .... flaking at slightest touch etc.

One paint that I did find was excellent - interior semi matt emulsion. It produces an excellent semi-matt WW2 fighter finish and you can specify colour blend you want ... single coat coverage as well .......... easy to touch up.
