Please see the attached notice for the Whitman Flyers Electric Fly-In. This has quickly become known as one of the best electric fly-in in the northeast. All electric aircraft are welcome. No pressure, just a nice relaxing fly-in at one of the best flying sites in the northeast. Lats year we had over 80 pilots and 230 aircraft of ALL TYPES!!! Please pass it along to your club and anyone else you can think of.

Everyone must have their current A.M.A. card to fly
Park admission collected at the tollbooth Open to all AMA Members
$5.00 Landing Fee (includes food and beverage)

Several peole have asked, yes there are a lot of shade trees to set up under, however there is also almost 1000" feet of pit area so you are very welcome to set up your own sun shades.
Also if you have anything you want to sell, bring it along

Just visited the in-laws and found your field, HOLLY CRAP that place is huge. Talked to some guys there, really nice group, I can not wait to come down for the Electric Fly-in on 8/11/12.

I have a few jets, any restrictions at all?

Hi Eddie,
Bring it on, we can handle most anything there, each person will have a spotter just to make sure you don't fly too far away, hah hah. All I ask is the planes be test flown before the event.

FINAL DECISION- Whitman Flyers Electric Fly-In is ON!!!The forecast has improved a lot over the last two hours now. It should be dry after 6am till about 3pm with only a 15% chance of a passing shower. It is supposed to be 83, mostly cloudy, winds out of the south/southwest at 7-10 mph. Should be just fine, I hope you can make it. Sounds like everyone is coming.
