Default Toy glider conversion to RC

Has anyone tried to make a RC powered glider from a cheap Toysrus glider?

Just thought it would make a cheap backyard glider to practice with. Any feed back would be appriciated.

Many times. Do a search for chuck glider conversion.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

Planefixr,

I've built two of them : 1) a conventional puller type I call " El Cheapo" and 2) An Airliner with twin edf's and retracts.

Have a 3rd one still in the bag. They are seasonal so if you're going to do this, you'd better run out to Target, Wal-Mart or ToysRUS before they shut it down till next spring.

There's a very active thread over on RC Groups. Endless possibilities. It's called "bashing" You're only limited by your own imagination. There are no detailed plans with dimensions per se. You kind of plan as you go. It's fun. My first one literally cost $9.95 cause I had everyhting I needed( motor, servos, rods, horns, etc)
