EDF to model size .....
What size / weight model can each EDF unit realistically power using recc'd factory LiPo power etc. Assume a standard config model of wing + tail .... lets use the T45 as an example ... having good wing area and slow - fast speed capability. Reason for asking - I'm looking to convert some pusher plans to EDF and want to keep modifications to size as small as possible. This means keeping EDF's to minimum for given model. My first is hoped to be a 20" wingspan F15 .... and I hope I can get by with 2 x 30mm EDF's ... weight at present with a pusher prop set-up is : 270gr + 110gr for 1300 3S LiPo : total flying weight 380gr.
