Default ESC from Flyzone Cessna vs Flyzone Super Cub

I just swapped out the stock motor with an E-flite Park 450, and the motor mount I found here from Terry.
My question is, Will the ESC from the Flyzone Cessna which has 16g wires work better into theSuper Cub which has 18ga wire, I do not know any more about either ESC, and which one would be better suited for the upgraded motor and battery a 2200 20C... thanks Gene

according to my info they are both 18 amp esc , but IDK if that's enough for your motor/prop combo.

So if I upgrade the ESC to match the 450 and a 9X6 prop, how do I figure it out.

I'm pretty new at doing power combos , but perhaps these sites will help.

Someone should check me out on this , but it seems like this 890 kv motor on 3s with 9x6 prop will pull only 10-12 amps max. Another try gave me 27 amps so I just don't know what rpm to use.
