Hi Guys
She is very sore but she is fine, the car on the other hand is totaled.
She was in the center lane of a 2 lane highway when a lady driving the wrong way in the lane nearest the shoulder hit her passenger side to passenger side. tore both wheels off and trashed the suspension.
Thanks ever so much for the good thoughts and feelings of concern, its deeply appreciated
Take care dear friends
Yours Hank

Hank,

Im so very happy that she was not injured and or harmed in this.

Cars can be replaced, loved ones cannot.

Be strong though this as it may test your patience. Know that you can hold her hand still, makes all the material items easier to deal with.

Regards,

NB

Hi
Thank you , you have all become quite dear to my heart and i am proud and honored to be your friend
Chris is doing well and we bought a new car today
We went with a 2008 Mercury Gran marquis to replace the 2009 that was destroyed
Here's a photo of her before the accident, you don't want to see her now one whole side is basically gone
RIP

RIP by inuyasha50, on Flickr
Only difference between the 2 is the year, color the new one is red and the engine is stock our old one had a transplanted Mercury Marauder engine that i built to the hilt ;D oh well now i can have fun hopping up this one
24K and the price was $11,000 we pick her up next week.insurance can reimburse us later.
Will post some photos asap
Take care dearest friends

The full frame I'm sure played a big part.

I drive a 88 crown vic wagon, and I know that I have a better chance, especially against a high cog vehicle like an suv, or truck.

Glad your guys are okay, and hope you come out alright in the end.

Buy back the old car, and get that marauder engine ready.

I hate to say it but a 24 year old car is not as safe as a new late model small car.

Airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability systems, crumple zones, stronger occupant cages on modern cars all make them safer than "big" cars from back in the day.

While weight and height do have some impact the safety items and advances in cars today are much more likely to save you in a crash.

Sorry But I will have to Disagree with you on that one, take a 24 year old car and a new late model car and enter then in a Destruction Durby, and watch which one wins LOL , I bet the TANK WILL

Hi Chellie
But will the driver? The newer cars are far safer imho for the driver and passengers then older cars as mike stated
If im in a wreck i would rather be in a automobile with the newest safety features then one made earlier without them
