Wow, 100W is pretty nice! I currently use a 40W iron, but this new 100W version would be a great addition to the workshop!

i have a junky iron. just to get by in my rc car days. but now that im in planes a good soldering iron will come in handy.

You know I have a very good friend that could really use a 100w soldering iron. In fact if I should win it I will give it to him as he just lost his latest build to a cold solder joint at the ESC.

the craftsman from sears is fairly flimsy and really doesn't hold up well if used a lot. i would love to try a 100amper
 . count me in .
