yeah you will need an adapter. the plug on the battery isn't a "normal" balance plug. instead of having 2 locating tabs (one on each end of the top) it has one tab on the top in the middle.
if you need more batteries, might check out the G-Force batteries from valuehobby.com you can order them with the correct connector and they are like $3 each!! |

This is the adapter for the charger, there is also a similar one that uses the Thunder Power balance board.
http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...-efl-EFLA700UM Great little airplane, I am using the 200 maH battery that is marketed for the mini Stryker and MIG 15. Gives you a few more maH, but is also a 25C rated battery instead of the 20 c for the 180maH |

Great choices - you will have a lot if fun with these. Just as a thought - what I did was change out the stock connector in the plane with a JST plug. This allows the use of batteries with the JST and the balance tap. I've also noticed that a lot of the batteries with the OEM connector are a little more expensive. Plus you can not monitor the cell balance with the OEM connector. I did this on my Sbach - Beast 3D - and my 130X.
