Thanks for that! Got the Chuck Nohr site bookmarked for other things regarding the camera's operation, however nothing on the noise I'm hearing. Other than that it seems to be working pretty good...can't really complain for 6 bucks! Also found out I have "#8"...assuming this is the version?

Welp, tried it on my little Interceptor 052 CX, and the camera interfered with the heli's receiver (?), thing was turning randomly, wouldn't shut down, when I removed the camera, it was fine. So now it rests on the edge of the brim of my Boston Red Sox hat, to be used as a "hat-cam"...

I have two of the #3 keychain 808 cams. Neither one of them makes any noise. I think I was cheated!

Yup, I don't think this one's HD, but nonetheless shoots pretty good video, I mean, for what it is, unbeatable! Except the almost 2 month wait coming from Hong Kong. LOVE the Chinglish on the manual...
