Default DX6i trimming question

I am new to group and am just learning to fly electric helicopters using a MCX-2 and a DX6i. I also bought the Pheonix simulator which I am sure will be very helpful. I have MS but am still reasonably coordinated dexterous so I am hoping will be able to fly OK. My goal is to work up to helicopters big enough to carry a GoPro camera as I am a serious amateur photographer.

Sorry to ramble on as this is my first post and here is my Question.

If I trim my MCX-2 with the DX6i, will the trim values remain in the DX6i after a power down and restart?

Yes, all settings are stored in that model memory.
