Is the fuse behind the cockpit high enough for it to be an old sig 4-star ?

Ask me why your DX5e is doomed... and how to fix it.

Not a FourStar... but looks close
That one has constant chord ailerons where the Fourstar's taper and the turtledeck behind the canopy is not high enough.

You could copy the Fourstar tailplanes and just endplate the wingtips. It would look fine and fly fine.

You could also copy the GP Super Sportster tail and wingtips. It looks closer to that (but still not right)

The Spacewalker is also close but no cigar... but you could copy that and go with a windscreen (simple bent plastic) instead of a vacu-formed bubble canopy.

You don't have to positively identify it in order to finish it up to look nice and fly well.

How about a Ace 4-40 ? Oh wait, that may be a mid/upper wing mount...

Thanks, yeah that's where I've been lately....running up a down Google images looking for something "close"......lol.
I was wanting to identify it just to satisfy my own growing curiosity...haha, I am a decent foam scratchbuilder so making up needed items is no prob even in wood. I AM going to have to learn to cover of course......never done that before and really have no clue where to start.
Thank you all for the suggestions......

Default Hold The Phone.....think we found it!

Well, from help on RCG and RCU, it looks like it's an old Pilot Super QB25L
Anyone know of one converted, or even flown one? I have a newer Pulse XT25E and love it.....I imagine this one will be similar.

If that's going to weigh about 4 pounds or so, a quality 500-600 watt motor will work very well in it.

Hi Denny,
Yeah I figure a little savings from it's orig glow configuration......approx 40oz AUW is my goal for it.
I am planning to power it with a known good setup that I use in my XT25E Pulse, a 2820-6 Suppo using a 10x7 APC on 2200 30c 3s. Even though only about 300w, the plane flies xlnt and is quite fast on less than 30a. As the Pulse weighs a bit more, the QB25 with the same power will make it a great flyer with good flight times.
Might be a little short of your suggestion, watts wise, but it's what I have immediately avail. I have mocked up some various weights and this power setup will make CG very easily, with the battery up in front of the canopy (hatch needs to be cut).
A lite, well balanced plane is what I strive for, not necessarily a bullet
