My Cessna has structural struts .. they stop the wing from folding UPWARDS in hard flight ... they both snapped being hard plastic.
My cure was to take BBQ skewers ... shave a small flat edge long each, cut to length of struts. CA the struts back together so straight and correct length. Take each BBQ skewer ... lay along centre of INSIDE face (that is facing underside of wing) of struts and run CA along to fix the skewers to the struts. Now take good quality packing tape of similar colour if possible to struts ... and carefully cover TIGHTLY the skewer / strut combo. Viola - struts that are now stronger than original without too much addition. This repair has survived many flights on my Cessna and I really wring her out hard ! You have to look closely to see the repair. I have same fixings etc. still working. Nigel |

The struts on the SC are functional. I change mine about every 6 months to insure their intregrity since I like to loop my SC a lot.
