Default Finished my Sopwith Pup.

Too bad they discontinued this plane. It's a pretty good looking plane for the price. Power is drawn from a Rimfire 250. Nano-Tech 2 cell 370 mAh batteries. ECS is a no name 12 amper, servos are Hitec HS55s. RX is a GWS Futaba pinned on channel 46. The standard battery connectors have been changed out to Deans Micro Plugs. I plan on getting more into small electric planes so those Deans will be my standard. And soon Ill be picking up a new 2.4 gHz radio for my bigger planes and will dedicate my older 4 channel Futaba T4EXA to small electrics. The receivers are so cheap as well as the rest of the electronics, so why not!

Here are some pics. I added some strapping tape to the underside of the wings for strength because, I have had them fail during a loop before. I should of remembered that trick from my Slow Sticks. And now, if the wind would just die down.

Looking good! I'm always amazed at the WWI planes, how all the electronics have to be crammed way up front for the CG, including the servos. Good luck!

Thanks. It was tough getting all the electronics to fit in that small of a space. I couldn't use the predrilled motor mount holes as it had the motor wires exiting the bottom and that's where I needed the battery connection.
