Thumbs up Rube Goldberg would have been proud.

While at the local big box store the other day I saw something that made me do a double take. It was a utility vehicle, but not just any ordinary one at that. It had a 42" mower deck, a generator, and a small dump bed on back! Just the thing to go to the field, cut a landing strip, charge up your battery, and haul it home afterwards.

Just needs a cappuccino machine for before, and icebox for the beer for after the flying's done! LOL!

I have a small trailer frame about 4 ft long and 32 inches wide i seen sitting out by the road in the trash one day. It has a T shaped metal frame and plywood top on it but the ply is shot but great clamps holding it down. It also had air tires on it so i want to build it into my flight box for when i go water flying with a little bigger tires and a handle to pull it with plus a swig up rack to place my plane on so i can haul everything to the lake in one trip. Getting lazy in my old age and multible trips back and forth to my van is rough on me in 100 degree weather . joe

That would be nice!

During the winter my buddies and I talked about how it would be nice to have a vehicle with a really tall and swept back windshield so we could sit at the wheel, stay warm and be able to see the plane if it got over our heads.

Thats why i bought a chevy 2500 exspress van. I put 1/2 inch pipes across the van in the back with foam around them to hold my wings or fuse and it has shelfs and drawers for all my other flight stuff. Where we fly is at a school parking lot or on a street in a abanded subdivison so i can park and fly from the side door of my van or jump out to fly and get back in to get warm up real fast. I have been flying for a long time and have always owned a van for my hobby on the weekend. joe

When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, in his sleep...... Not screaming like the passengers in his plane.

The thought came to me it'd be handy to hang a bug light from it to help get rid of all the insects but then again there's always OFF.
