Question HobbyKing 8 Cell Mete by BrianW517

BrianW517 asked:
I'm new to this electric flight hobby. I have a HobbyKing 8 Cell Meter(a gift)!?. The Cell Meter didn't come with instructions!? On the side of the case is a nine prong male connecter openning? On the front of the case is a large push button. My battery plugs don't match the nine prong side plug of the device? How and where, do I obtain the correct plug connections, to make this device work? What are these wire connections called? Will an 8 Cell Meter work on 6 or 4 or 2 Lipo Cells or is it only used for 8 cell Lipo's? Very little info: was available on the HobbyKing website.
Once I learn how to hook up this Cell Meter, I'll be able make it useful to me. Any help given to this NewBee, getting involved with elctric flight would be appreciated.

Take care and thanks for posting at WattFlyer!!
