Wow! Thanks for sharing this one. I get to see Sean Tucker & Rob Harrison (Did his last show this year.
) each year at the Planes of Fame airshow, and Rob Holland is like both of them together. (Don't tell Sean Tucker, but I think Rob's show looked better!)

What the full scale can't do is exceed 9 g for more than a few seconds... or the pilot will pass out.
His plane appears to have almost 1:1 thrust:weight. He had to "flop" out of the torque roll rather than accelerate vertically as our models can do. (with 2:1 or sometimes higher thrust:weight) Its an impressive performance. |

Rather, what the pilot can't exceed is 9g's....the plane can accomodate quite a bit more.....thanks for that little tid-bit of info Fred......lol
Seems even more intense than Astronaut and fighter pilot training......... |
