Default OMG.. have you EVER gotten any help from Hobby King's CHAT line?

COMPLETELY WORTHLESS.

I have given them time and time again to try to reply to a simple question.

Fact is, these chat 'people' are completely clueless. They do nothing but waste your time taking 2 minutes or more per stupid, worthless reply.

I mean really. WHY BOTHER WITH THE DARN SERVICE if your chat agents are so blatantly inept at doing anything.

Hobby King, GET A FREAKING CLUE.

I CHALLENGE ANYONE to get a question answered via that service. I'd love to see someone getting ANYTHING of value from it.

Yeah, it's annoying when you want to ask a simple question, but the Online support has no clue.

I have used them a few times to talk about some specific orders I had made, and actually did get service, but that was only because I gave them specific part numbers and details that they could look up without having to be too knowledgable.

I've not used the live chat service but I'm not surprised that it's inept given the hopeless response you usually get in any written communications.

The old adage is probably relevant "if you pay peanuts you get monkeys".

i was totally cruel to one of them when i had time to kill...lol.
i called to get a status on an order that said it was shipped but hadn't arrived from the USA warehouse.these orders always arrive with in a week of ordering and it was 2 weeks+ and no package

the conversation was going nowhere and i was kept waiting a long time in between typing . suddenly i got a response from the rep that was off topic,in fact it wasn't meant for me at all. he was handling 2 calls at once, one to me and the other must have been a friend.I'm sure it was a message to a friend...lol...

this is where i got even....

i said "what are you talking about now,i don't understand your message" rep" I'm sorry i meant that for another customer.I'm handling a lot of calls at once" i say "not to worry about it as i have the correspondence fully recorded and will be in touch with him[the rep] within the next few days after going over this with cooperate headquarters.

rep says"what, your recording this" i say" of coarse,it's always recorded and not to worry as he was doing to much handling 2 customers at once and we'll get back to you regarding our decision"

Rep"please let me try to help you again,i want to solve your issue.i will check on your order now" i say"that won't be necessary as i already know the status of my order...it hasn't been shipped....but thank you anyway and have a good day at work."

rep"I'm checking your order right now" i say"have a good day,I'll be in touch with your customer service staff soon.again,it's not your fault for the investigation to follow...your doing a great job.keep up the good work. have a good day" signed off

total time spent typing this rep was around 45 min's

i wonder if he told anyone since as far as i could tell he believed he was about to hear from headquarters regarding multiple conversations that i had record of. Truth is ,we can print a copy of correspondence'. anyway, just thought I'd share what an old guy like me does while watching TV late at night and being bored.........man i gotta get a life[jk]

narrow is the place to land...wide is the space to crash....choose the narrow way!

Funny how they use the word Help in help line. More like waste your time till you go away line.

The TRUTH is not always what it seems.

LOL hahahahahaha!

I spit coffee all over! I hadnt heard that one before and it is so appropriate in reference to HK. Steve, you owe me a new keyboard

It seems kind of silly to me to expect "customer service" from a company who's business model is based squarely on lying, cheating and stealing. Surely you dont really expect them to do that do you?

I think I need a signature.

I had to change an order once, I wanted 3 of something but the order only showed one...It took like an hour to get then to understand I needed to add an item quantity change to the order....This was like 5 minutes after I placed the order I got through to them. I swear I was chasing my tail worse than teaching my cat the words "Get down".....The cat understood right away....

My name is Mark and I approve this message.
