Sure is pretty. I think I'm going to stop being the first kid on the block to have the new offerings from Horizon though.

![]() ![]() ! GASP! bnf? 52in? FLAPS? Epic . Trust me, I know as well as anybody that nitroplanes is no horizonhobby, but you can get the like same thing without flaps but pre-installed retracts for like 210$ there. It's a corsair though. It would be much more reasonable if horizon would drop the price to 300$. I would buy this one over the np corsair any day if they would just make it 300$...

From the pictures, the flaps look very cool, but they are not increasing the air foil. They will just be making drag...

Hi Guys,
Well I was able to sneak out of the house for one solid hour and took with me the E-Flite Hawker Hurricane 25e on the excuse that I was going to sell it. Now, I did not say I was meeting up with anyone in particular to sell it, just that I was going to sell it I was able to squeeze two short flights and was able to Video record as best that I could the Flights and a Demonstration of how this Model can be quickly be setup up without any fuss or confusion. E-Flite really did their homework on this one! She glides in for a landing without any power and glides forever so, you will need those Flaps to get her slower and kill the lift (Flap Drag) and she comes down like a baby doll with those flaps. Looks very real up in the air and best of yet, SHE IS FOR SALE!!! Some pictures between flights of my Hawker Hurricane 25e! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It fits inside my 1996 vintage Toyota Corolla DX! ![]() ![]()

I love all the Hawker Storms. My favorite is the Typhoon. I have a WOW Planes Typhoon in the box. The poor Hurricane was overshadowed by the Spitfire, but actually shot down more German planes during the Battle Of Britain. There is a great video on Youtube of September Fury, snorting fire, during a dusk engine run up.

Yes indeed, I might keep her after all. ![]() Carlos

Guys!
![]() I am pretty sure you all will enjoy this latest Video that Gerry (simano) recorded for my E-Flite Hawker Hurricane 25e! We both met up at Moon Port Modelers RC Club in the early evening and right before Sunset on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012. ![]() I guess after flying my Hawker Hurricane 25e at another location in the morning and with a steady head wind, I must have forgot how to land this gentle giant in Dead Calm!!! ![]() Also, Gerry pointed out that the Decals seem to be painted on instead of those cheesy decals we have seen to date on the other Warbirds. I must admit it really makes a BIG difference in the looks, especially when you are taking HIGH RESOLUTION pictures from a high end Digital camera!! ![]() Here is the video! |

Actually, I am being serious. Where I live, Hobby shops are few and far between, and what little stock they have is limited to ridiculously overpriced parkzone ARF's, because glo planes are still the norm. Never heard of e-flite (honestly!!!!), but then again, there are a number of manufacturers whose products I know nothing about. Likewise, being primarily a scratch builder, I have never seen depron either. I hear and read about various things on Wattflyer, but they really are abstract in many cases. Back to the thread, it appears that this Hurricane is an ARF of some description, so I think I've answered my own question
.
