Haven't built one, but that sounds like a nice size, and Peter's designs always build easily, as I know several local guys have done his 36" designs. Yes, we missed you. :-)

Welcome back ACE. Have been in and out myself, but checking in on occassions. Rake designs are great planes and fairly easy builds. Like others, I have done the 36 inch planes. Flying all foam now days, no time for the real deal builds, which I miss. Get it and let us all know!!

 And please post pics of your DR1 build . and video of the maiden flight also .....  Hope that you get the DR1 built faster than I have been building Pat Tritles Grumman Ag Cat bipe .
