I could imagine what it would look like if I flat spinned it to the ground.

I'm seriously debating whether to get one of these or not. They look awesome. Haven't flown a plane of this type yet so they just might be enough pull to entice me to buy it. Lol. I love the micros they are just too awesome to fly.

I went to the hobby store today and bought one of the micro Strykers, I hope to maiden it tomorrow. I let you know how it goes. I haven't flown this type of flying wing before but I have on the sim sooooo hopefully I don't bring back pieces.

Well the maiden went well for never flying this type of plane before and I would say its about as fast a my Parkzone P-47 stock for stock. It is a easy plane to fly and its very wind tolerant. It does handle handle much better than my P-47 though LOL and if want to turn or pull up it will do it faster than think. Its not squirrelly at all.

Today's maiden flight was in a steady 15mph wind and while gliding/slow flying it does get lightly bounced around but if you pour on the throttle a little it has no problems at all with the wind.

Parkzone did a great job with this little mini Stryker and I have already informed the Wife the full size Stryker will becoming home soon.

Buy a Mini Stryker you wont regret it.

We fly this thing until the ESC complains (low battery). But, people are surprised at how long it stays up flying. I do feel a bit more speed can me more exciting. But, of course that will reduce the flight time.

My son loves the boomerang spin.

I'd love to get one of these.

I have no experience flying any fixed wing aircraft. I do have experience flying heli's though, like the mCPX and B450 3D as these are what I fly on the weekends.

So, for Christmas I've purchased a UM P51 mustang. Probably a bit aggressive for a 'first plane', but I hope the combination of my helicopter experience and some sim time will keep me from damaging things too badly.

Once I get a few months of experience with that, I hope I'd be able to try the Stryker.

If any UK flyers are looking for a cheap deal on these, Steve Webb Models are doing a pre-christmas special for £74.99 (£83.94 including postage).
Here's their link: www.servoshop.co.uk/index.php?pid=HZPKZU2280&area=Aircraft
I just ordered one, because that's about £15 cheaper than my usual online supplier.

Current hangar: Cessna 182, Cessna Skymaster, PZ Spitfire MkIX. ASW-17, Kalt Whisper.
Micro: Blade mSR, Blade mCPx, Sukhoi 26XP, T-28 Trojan, Beast, Stryker, Carbon Cub, Spitfire.

Discontinued, apparently.

Parkzone's site says. "Unfortunately, this item is no longer available. If updated or related products are suggested, you can access them through a link that will appear below this text."

Neat trick...

Take it high, go inverted and get it into a power-off inverted spin.
Reverse the ailerons and watch it wind up.

Let go of the sticks to recover.

Its an entertaining little plane... no good reason to discontinue it. I think its one of their best micros.
