Default Fms asw 28

Maiden flight of the FMS ASW 28 proved to be just as advertised. This scale sailplane looks good in the air and on the ground. CG was set right at factory suggested, causing a very balanced flight. It can be flown fast or slow and I noticed no tip stall tendency at slow speed and moderate banking. It flies inverted and rolls are simple. During a dive, the wings have good flex and a sweet whistle sound occurs during a fast flyby. Its not a good idea to take off at full power, I used half throttle and dialed in more after a nice climb was established. Build time was simple and fast. No glue needed. I do not like the canopy hookup. Get rid of those cheap clips and go with magnets. Will be hunting thermals soon. I LOVE this sailplane. Good job FMS!

Was going to order one of these from Bananan Hobby..couldn't find a shipping quote for ground so I messaged them for a shipping quote for ground ship. They said they had a special with free ground ship. I went back to order it and of course it is now out of stock. Figures.

Some people hang pictures in their homes, I hang guitars in mine. I guess I can hang a few planes in the garage too!
