Default Dynam 40A ESC won't stop beeping.

I just purchased a new Gee Bee Sportster from Nitro.

I plugged everything in, bound the Tx, and the ESC won't stop beeping at me.

It says, "do-DEE-DOO ... beep ... beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep."

The test battery was a 3S 2200mAh LiPo which has about 4V/cell charge, so it's not an LVC warning.

According to Nitro's web site, this is the ESC. The manual says nothing about errors.

Any hints or clues from more experienced peeps? (Hopefully other than "Buy this ESC instead.")

And ... fixed.

The problem seems to have been setting the throttle range. I plugged it in at full throttle, waited for the beeps, then pulled the throttle back to zero and I seem to be all set.

sometimes your throttle trim can be set too high as well.

Normally throttle range or having the transmitter reversed for the throttle will cause those types of problems, glad you got it figured out, Beep beep beep beep beep

My Dynam FW-190 did the same thing but it was intermittent. I hate intermittent. Will check to see if the throttle got trimmed accidentally.

Yeah - I tried throttle trim, etc. etc. etc. Then, on recommendation from another board I plugged it in with the throttle at 100%, waited for it to beep a few times, then pulled the throttle to zero and all has been well (so far.)
