Default E Fly Radio

Please, I need an assist and not rich man cute quips.

I am a 100$% disabled Veteran that did not fly for the past 23 years. I purchased two Art Tech Wing Dragons to teach young pilot wanna-bees with and so it is that I have two E Fly Transmitters. I have scratch built a Neuport wanna be with trikes to keep the nose out of the dirt and a Fairey Swordfish Torpedo Bomber (scale) and having servier financial concerns, I need two receivers that will bind with the E Fly transmitters. I see the Hobby King has a couple of receivers for less than 10 but does anyone know if they will bind with my transmitters?

Thank you in advance.

I am not aware of any RXs that are cross-compatible with E-Fly.

Hi, Your E Fly Transmitter is a 2.4 DSM (1) the orange 2.4 receivers at HK are DSM2, a DSM2 receiver wont work with a 2.4 DSM transmitter, the early Spektrum DX6 transmitters were DSM (1)
a Spektrum AR6000 park flier receiver might work, as its DSM (1) but not sure on that, because the E Fly Transmitter only uses 23 - 2.4 frequencies, the E Fly receivers are expensive, like $30.00- $40.00 if you can find them,
To tell you the truth, your old DSM (1) transmitters are just Paper weights, DSM is not used any more. I Know you did not want to hear that,
Buy Yourself a DX5e 2.4 transmitter, its DSM2 and you can then use the orange HK receivers for $10.00 , Hope That helps, Chellie

First a correction, It is DSM not DMS.

More importantly it is not a Spektrum protocol at all. Sadly it is not a common system.
