Default Flyzone P-38 Micro

I have had 4 of the Parkzone UMX planes, the Champ, Spitfire MkIX, T-28 Trojan and P-40 Warhawk. That being said, none performs as well as Flyzone's Micro P-38. She flies better than any of my pervious micros which I have basically relegated to static models. I fly her using my new Tactic TTX650 transmitter. What an excellent combo, the FZ P-38 and the TTX650.

How much did that set-up cost? That plane is pretty cool and I have thought about getting one, but the landing gear looks pretty weak.

How is it holding up?

I got mine for $113.00 from www.Ampdraw.com The landing gear is not weak and has held up great. The RTF is just a little more, about 15 bucks. However, you can fly this thing using the AnyLink adapter which is pretty cheap, around $25.00 I believe. The incredible thing is, I didn't even have to trim it out on her maiden. It flew just fine right out of the box. After about 25 flights there isn't even a scratch on her. She flies and lands like a dream. As for the TTX650, Tower Hobbies had a special where you bought their Flyzone F4U Corsair Select Scale for $202.00 and they included the Tactic TTX650 in the box with the plane. Since the TTX650 sells for $150.00, I basically got the Corsair for $52.00 complete with landing lights and retracts with gear doors. Fantastic deal. The price was achieved using Tower's coupon codes and free shipping. This is literally the BEST flying micro I have ever flown. NO gyro stabilization needed on this one.

Will the Flyzone P38 bind with a spektrum DX8? I see that it is 2.4 Ghz, but I can find nothing that says Spektrum, everything is Tactic.

I'm either going to get good at flying em, or get good at fixin em!
