Default Turnigy 9X Channel Assignment

I have the 9X and have discovered that it has channel 2 assigned to throttle instead of 3. Can anyone tell me how to fix this. The manual is very poor.

Check which MODE (stick set) you have selected in menu ...

It was set to "1" and needed to be "2". Many thanks
