Default When travelling and connection cuts of ...

I travel a lot and quite often I get short cut-offs in connection ... usually this is just annoying but one aspect of this forum - and let me say I regard Wattflyer as the best .........

If I click SUBMIT POST and I lose connection - I lose all text I typed in when I go back to try submit again with connection restored.

This is the only Forum that does it that I am registered with ... all others incl. (dare I mention them !) RCgroups - when I go back a page - the dialogue box still contains my post text so I can click submit again.

Yeah, I've run across this once or twice in wattflyer. Usually when a considerable amount of time is spent in composing the text file.

Simple solution is to "Ctrl C" copy your text file before hitting "Submit Reply".

Another option is to type in parts of the post text, submit it, and go back and add modify or what ever to your posting.

Only one other forum I used did this ... so a lot of us used Notepad to create the post in ... then Ctrl C ... Shift C to the post reply box ...

As you say - its when you do a long post !!
