Default Habu Guts

What to do with my Habu-1, fix it or find another airframe? If I go the airframe route, what airframe?

Fix it, or replace the present fuselage with a new one. The only other micro EDF out there that shares the same electronics and fan unit is the UMX MiG 15. It's a nice flyer, but the mini-Habu is cleaner to the wind and has better performance, based on my experience with both planes. Then again, you could scratch build something that would use/house the Habu electronics/EDF equipment. I flew my mini-Habu the other day, in Orlando while visiting for Thanksgiving, with winds gusting upwards of 20mph. I didn't think the mini-Habu would cut it! It did! The downwind passes were real sreamers. So, stay with the Habu. That's my 2-1/2 cents worth.

It's not the UMX, it's the park flyer.

Thanks for the clarification. Sorry about that, I have focused on micro's lately, the fleet is growing!

Dynam Vampire would be my choice. BUT change to a CS 10 blade fan, 85amp ESC. Stock motor will take it if you add cooling fins (4S).
