Default EL Cheapo LED Nav lights

Was at Walgreens the other day and was digging through their odds and ends sale bin. Found a set of LED's for $3.00. What the heck. They're portable with no wiring or drain on lipo and can be velcro'd. Uses replacement calculator batteries. Come in Red, Green and Blue( More like white) . Can be switched from steady on to slow flashing strobe to fast flashing strobe.

Will see what they look like on the DHC Beaver or GP Escapade.

Cheap as buying 3 of those single LEDs and has a lot more lights.
It does require power input from the RX or a stand alone appx 5v source, but doesn't draw significant current.

Your find does have the advantage of not needing to route the wires (and the wires of the set are not long enough for a 1200mm wingspan.)

Yeah, they would not be good for most of my smaller planes because of size and weight but a couple of the big balsa models ? Oh well, what the heck.
