Here is a video of it flying outside in a pretty stiff and oscillating breeze. I was surprised overall by its performance:

Well, I was never a fan of quads, but I got my son one of these Nano's a few days ago and now...

I stopped at the LHS today and got myself one of these, too! What fun! I've had a CX2(Too big inside the house, can't take any wind outside...), an MCX-S300(Cute, but slow and not very exciting), and an MSR(Small enough for in the house, fast enough to be a little too exciting!). This Nano fits the bill, though. Luckily, my son likes green, so no arguments there!

Nice little review, GB. I agree with the throttle taking some getting used to. I wonder if a throttle curve in a computer radio could help?

I hope this doesn't get too crazy. I've been having this dream lately, though....

Thank you very much for the kind words about my review!

Hahaha! One of my good friends bought one and he absolutely loves his too. It is surprising since he has flown pretty much everything under the sun and with exceptional talent. In fact, I just spent all day at a big RC warbird event and he still found time to fly his little Nano QX.

Regarding the throttle, it seemed to help when I just adjusted the throttle trim up a little higher, so that and/or any other little tinkering could certainly help out.

And at least it is a dream and not a nightmare

You have to be careful with adjusting the throttle
trim. It doesn't like to link up if the trim is up too high.

For the most part, it should be at the bottom of the
range for throttle trim and just left there.

Helicopters don't really fly.......
They're just so ugly, that the earth repels them.

So any updates on the above quad? I may be one of these for work to do some video work, but I am not as good with them as I would like to be to make that kind of investment and haven't been able to fly much at all over the past few months.
