Default A couple of new flat foam ships

Here are my two newest designs for flat foam jets. They both are constructed of Dollar Tree foam and hot glue and are powered by HK 2826 motors with 35 amp ESCs. The Avro Vulcan is scheduled for publication in Model Aviation in October of this year, and the Lippisch P.13B has been accepted for publication in Park Pilot with the date TBA.

Nice stuff!

I don't have a short temper. I just have a quick reaction to B.S.

Default Avro Vulcan

The plane was designed for and constructed of Dollar Tree foam board. Depron might be a cost overkill! When the article comes out, it is supposed to have free full size template plans with it. Were I to do another one, I would opt for an airbrushed camouflage scheme, although the plain untreated foam board is striking in the air.

Not having DTF available here - its Depron or Floor Insulation sheets.

I have various 3-views of Vulcan anyway and if done as a profile ... good enough.

Originally Vulcan was completely white ... it was only later with change of probable target location that camo and other schemes came in.

Yes. When the mission changed from high altitude nuclear delivery to low level strikes, the paint was applied. Sheer laziness and simple markings dictated the white color scheme for me.
