For jets I do like a pusher.
My GWS F-15 with a BP 2217-4 ...3500 KV is a simple sweetheart.

22 oz of safe vertical hand launches.

Love the way this is coming together. My first RC jets were EDF, but I'm on the pusher wagon for the foreseeable future. Cheaper, faster (per $), and easier.

installed the motor to get an idea where to put the battery.
the battery was placed in the cooling ducting and a plate and straps epoxied in.

that is a 5000 mah 5 cell.

i also did a dry weight while it was in... all is in but the esc, ubec, and rx

these are not really heavy and easily placed.

right now ...7.2 lbs

i might make the recommend weight..which most never did on the nitro version.....and i could always get thunder power batteries if i need to shave a little weight.

Great build pictures, TampaFlyer!
Thanks and keep 'em coming.

I especially love the retracts.

Can hardly wait to see the finished product and maiden flight report!

well its been sometime....
had to get over priming in latex acyrlic.. only to have it come off with water..had to remove it all.

could not find any acyrlic primer only.... so put on another layer of finishing resin. sanded, primed with auto primer...

here is a picture after the primer and i am adding the tape for panel lines. wanted some details...

it has been primed again sanded , and will add color this week.....
