Default OHMS Law

Hi all you EF guys,
For thise of you that do not subscribe to Model Airplane News you have missed a good article by Greg Gimlick called The Great Power Struggle. Greg goes back to the days of the KRC Electric Flys in PA as well as I do so we are not just new commers. I still am in touch with Bob Kopski and Keith Shaw but do not get to see them any more as in the good old days.
Anyway here is the the electric wis-wheel the Greg put in the colum.
I hope you can get some use out of it.

I am in the navy and work on electronics, I know guys that have the "Whiz-Wheel" tatooed on their forearm.

Good tool with some study in basic electronics. I have a couple of apps on my phone that help refresh my memory.

I'm either going to get good at flying em, or get good at fixin em!

Thanks for the reply.
I spent 30 years with the Navy Reserves as a Combat Aircrewman and flew in 4 different Navy Planes, also spent 2 years on a Carrier.
Good luck to you.

Simple 'n Easy Electronics by WAGmob is the app. It has really simple tutorials on all the basics to Refresh my memory. I also have Electronics for dummies on my nook app, on my phone.
I have had them for a couple of years, maybe time to search for some new ones.
Oh, and they are android....

I'm either going to get good at flying em, or get good at fixin em!

@ Chardesa; I was asking Broncosquid about the apps. Sorry if you misunderstood.

@ Broncosquid; Thanks. I'll have to check some out. Electrons, at least the theory of how they work, has been one of my weak points.

1. PFM (Use the "I Believe" button a lot.)

2. Magic Blue Smoke: If you let the magic blue smoke out of the components they quit working.

I'm either going to get good at flying em, or get good at fixin em!
