The Vintage RC Society has selected the Kaos and all its variations as the 2011 theme plane.

I just happen to have a Kaos kit sitting on the shelf.
Hope they don't mind electric powered.

Plans for the Kaos and Super Kaos are available from RCM. Lazer works has a short kit available for the Super Kaos.

Just completed a Bluejay Killer Chaos with electric power and it flies great. Scorpion 4020-8, 11x7 prop, Turnigy 5000 5S, Phoenix 80 ESC. This combination pulls 1400 watts and flies comfortably at 1/2 throttle. Only problem is the skinny fuselage is kinda hard to see sometimes! My first Kaos was built in 1975 and had a ST .56. I'll get a couple of pictures posted if anyone's interested........

If you look a little closer, you will find the standard Kaos at Lazer Works too. I LOVE THAT KAOS. Best all around flying and playing plane I have ever found. I have the RCM plans for the Kaos and am planning to build it this winter. I even have my old HP 61 to put in there. Just need my old ProLine to make it 100%.

"The Vintage RC Society has selected the Kaos and all its variations as the 2011 theme plane."

Is this for the 2011 season or the 2012 season? Not much left of 2011, unless I am in the wrong year...............

2011. But build it and bring it to a VR/CS event.

The 2012 theme will be something completely different.

Since the 2012 theme plane is; ( just released, 10-27-2011 )

On behalf of the VRCS Theme Plane Committee, I would like to announce that we we have come to an agreement that the VRCS Theme plane for 2012 will be

"Any design originally made for engines up to and including .10 size, or equivalent electric power (approx 200 watts)."

This it is hoped will give the small-plane and single-channel RC fans something to get their juices flowing. Inexpensive, too!

Respectfully submitted,

Dave Platt, Chairman

Sound like a great plane would be a Baby Bridy, it was in that size
