Default kit build (decals)

Bought a "Firstar" from Amazon.com, everything Ok except decals, the tips (wing and Elevator) want to come loose (curl up). What can I attach them with ? Glue ? What type ? Clear Coat Spray ?

Thanks

By the way plane was $53 this week it's $76

For contact adhesive decals: 3M Formula 77 spray glue. Note that thee are 3 versions and 2 will attack common styrofoam. so check which version if the model is not made of EPO.

Peel the decals off.
Lay face down on newspaper and carefully mist the back with the spray glue.
Mask the part of thee plane that won't get the decal, lightly sand (very fine paper just to rough the surface a little) and spray with glue.

Let the glue dry for a few minutes then apply decal to model. It will stick.

Or you can just go with clear packing tape.

For an EPO foam model nothing will stay forever. Its almost like trying to make stuff stick to Teflon plumber's tape. Works for a while but it eventually slides off.
