Default Indoor Flying Season upon us

Thought there might be an interest in what our indoor group are up to.
Here are some photos of a few of my models and a link to a video of 4 indoor 1:48 scale Lancasters. Lancaster is moulded depron weighs 80gm including 1s lipo.
Fury has 1 ducted fan from an Airhogs A10 and Deltang receiver with 2 servos.
On my channel there are a few more videos that might be of interest.

Good job, streff. Nice looking airplanes. That looks like a great place to fly indoors.

Hmm... What is this 'in door flying season' you speak of?

But seriously, those are beautiful models. Great work! One of the clubs I'm in actually does do indoor flying once a month, but it's on Friday evenings, and I work 2nd shift, so I've never had the chance. Nice video. You won't see 4 Lancasters flying together any other way now.

Welcome to WF, streff, and thanks for sharing.

We are in the process of making new models at 1:40 scale to get better flying characteristics. I cnc'd plugs for nacelles and we have vacformed them, we have mould for fuselage nearly complete but have to make an oven big enough to take them before we can mould the depron.
I also have to complete the undercarriage drawings, work out the retract mechanism and get them 3d printed.
The new models will have retracts, flaps and ailerons, original models flew using rudders with motor speed mixed to them for turning (i.e. we can vary the speed for starboard or port motors as required)
