Default sweep angle

I want to build a normal sized (30+ inches) sport flying wing. But, I am not sure how much angle of sweep I should have, should it be at least 15 degrees or more.
Thanks for any help

Depends on what you want to do... They can fly with 0 or more than 45 per side. Typical is close to 15 deg. 45 tends to end up being a delta.

Sweep tends to act somewhat like having dihedral giving added yaw and roll stability.

The less sweep you use the more trim/CG sensitive it will be. Also with a decent amount of sweep you dont need to use a reflexed airfoil, you can use twist (washout) instead which is more efficient.

I like 25~30, if it looks like an airliner's wing you're in the ballpark.

Simple answer : what looks right usually is right.

Another way is to download a plan and see what they have.
