Default Seperate Ailerons on DX7s with Orange RX

Hi guys,
This is driving me mad!
I'm almost finished assembling my HK 330 Extra profile but cannot figure out the settings to use 2 individual ailerons (no Y lead).
TX is the old DX7 SE (heli model) I'm plugging the right Aileron into the Aileron channel and the left aileron into Aux on the Orange RX. I've done a data reset and created a new model in the TX and I've been through both TX setups suggested here without success: http://www.spektrumrc.com/Articles/A...ArticleID=1798
I can get the ailerons working in the right directions but the left aileron automatically flicks to about 35 degrees as soon as I power up the RX.
Does anyone have any suggestions please (apart from throwing the TX in the bin!)

EFlight Mini Pulse XT, Durafly Dynamic S, Scratch Built 52" Pushycat, HK 330 Edge Profile, HK Mini Spirit, Thunder Tiger EHawk 1500.

It sounds sort of like the one aileron is cycling through the position the AUX channel had when you first bound the RX to the TX. If its going back to centered when controls start responding its not a problem at all. You can rebind and that will make it stay centered.

Is the Dx7se the same as the old Dx7? You may want to check here. Denny did it. Mentions it at the bottom of the page. Maybe he can help you out? Good luck ď

Try using a different channel for the left aileron servo. (FYI, if another don't help, try another channel!) My DX7 transmitter had issues when the "wrong" slave channel was used. Also had an issue where throwing one of the unused DX7 switches at the top of the transmitter caused an unwanted servo operation. Be sure to double check this when done. That is, while holding the two transmitter sticks off center, throw all unused switches at the top of the transmitter, to make certain no unwanted interaction takes place.

Again, with a different mix with a different channel for the left aileron, everything worked out just fine. If my fading memory is correct, two of the aux channels of the DX7 transmitter are designed for mixed slave operation, the others are not.

Have you set enabled 'flaperon' in the 'wing type' set up screen?

You need to do it to get dual aileron servos working. It's on page 44-45 of DX7 the manual (I assume the SE is identical in this pert of the set up).
