Default PT 40 trainer parts plane

I have a PT40 Trainer Plane that I was gonna make into a Electric plane, but just ended up binning it. So if anyone needs a parts plane, have at it. Wings are good, few tears in the coat but very serviceable. Servos are all there. Control surfaces and linkages are there, as are gear and wheels. I have the original motor and tank too. Free to a good home, but it's big and bulky of course, if you wanna pay for shipping from Georgia.

North of Atlanta, near Marietta.

Also the fuselage is intact, minus a trapdoor cut for battery access, and a bulkhead I built to mount the electric motor. No motor or ESC included of course.

Too far for me, Thanks.

I'm sure you will find someone who will pick it up soon.

No problem. Really, with a motor ESC and minor battery mount work, it's ready to fly. Hate for it to go in the trash, but it's too big to keep around if I'm not gonna do anything with it.

Do you have a box for it? I'd give it a good home & teach some to fly with it.

I could maybe find a box. Would have to be a big box. Shipping to TX may be cost prohibitive. We can try if you're game tho.

I will have to look....but I dont think so...could easily be wrong though

Never finished the plane...it is ready to cover but I dont have the motor mount and simply didn't need a nitro trainer in my collection as no room and I dont fly nitro. I'll look today

BTW any standard servos will work. people sell whole systems in the classifieds on the various rc online forums for pennies on the dollar...and includes all needed items

I DO have the plans ...checked today...did not open them to see condition...but also have the pt 40 setup and flight manual as well..

was in a hurry so did not get to examine them close...just seen I had them.

have a near ready to cover fuse..(lightened) , wing, stab..wheels, lg..just no motor mount (original was a long mount that included the nose gear mount about a couple inches behind the motor mount.)

will probably never finish it as I simply dont need a large trainer. Only trainer I want to keep is a Bridi 40 I have nearly refurbed..and is vintage

Unless I'm missing something. That is a Tower 40 ARF in the photo, not a PT40.
