Default Who makes the Tactic TTX650 radio??

Is this a Chinese or Japanese radio? I would really like to know where its made.

What was I thinking?

Its made in China.

its rumored to have similar parents to futaba. I cant state that for a fact but only passing along what little mis-info (or not) I know.

It is made in China - for Hobbico. There was some rage about it being made by Graupner, but I really doubt that with the Futaba relationship it seems odd.

Service is through Hobbico, not the best in the business but FAR from the worse.

If you want a system made in Japan - you need to significantly up your budget.

JR and Futaba are now largely in other lands too. Philippines, Thailand are also big producers.

The more important thing, IMHO is who backs it up.
