Default Soloed Today..finally

After 5 Sundays of flying on a buddy box, I soloed today. My instructor was right next to me but I still got a case of the nerves landing my Apprentice. The winds were variable and changing directions. On my worst and final landing the wind seemed to want to keep my plane just above the runway until I ran out of runway. My nerves kicked into high and I nosed it into the tall grass. Luckily, the only thing broke were a few rubber bands. They may have contributed to my less than stellar landing. I noticed after I got home, my spinner is also missing. No big deal.

Next week I'm buying a used Techone Swift from my instructor. He says it'll take a lot of abuse and will make a good second plane to start with.

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!! Great feeling, isn't it?

Helicopters don't really fly.......
They're just so ugly, that the earth repels them.
