Default BroncoSquid's NAVY Deployment Thread

So, I have begun a 9+ month deployment with the mighty US Navy. I will be digging this thread up and adding adventures as I continue to lurk here and watch others enjoy the hobby I am going to sorely miss. Not to fret though, I have most of the things I need to build a small He-162 using UMX MiG-15 guts so I will not be totally out of it. Anyway, keep the build threads coming.

I'm either going to get good at flying em, or get good at fixin em!

I wish you the best BroncoSquid. Hopefully it will be a routine cruise w/ no uh-oh moments.

Stay safe and post when you can!

Please call me John. I came up w/ Max2112 when I thought you were all internet predators after me Lucky Charms!!

Hey Bronc! Great to hear from you, but sorry to hear you're leaving on a voyage. Good luck with the build. (Though, that isn't the guts from that MiG, is it? At least it'll find a good new life.) An He-162 will be awesome. Can't wait to see. Smooth sailing!

Nope, eBay guts, $42 for fan, motor, rx/esc, and 2 micro servos. And am wrong they are actualy the guts out of a UMX Habu.

Whew! I only got to see it in person once, but your custom MiG is too beautiful to think it had a mishap.
