Hello,

just received a brand new kit of the Heinkel HE-162 Salamander from EAMRC. Wingspan 1000 mm = 39 inch, length 800 mm = 31 inch.

I will set in the WEMOTEC Minifan with HetW3 at 3s1p KOKAM 3200 or 4s1p

Have a look what I did during the first 3 h of building, last evening.

Photos 1 - 3 what comes out the box

#5 putting in the wire an place with tape in position
#6 + 7 prepare both halfs of the wing, I added a wooden duvel to connect the halfs
#8 used tape to fix the wing halfs
#9 put pu glue on

Hello,

maiden made yesterday evening!

4 min first flight, 2 min second, then it was getting too dark,

CG: 35-40mm from LE at the root (1,37 - 1,57 inch)
Elevator: 10 mm up and down, 60 % expo
Ailerons: 7-8 mm up, 3-4mm down , 60 % Expo

Used a 1500mA KOKAM 3s1p, complete weight 800g

Flies safe and nice, no problems at all!

Now I will take her to some electro meeting next weekend.

Okm

we tested the HE-162 at the week end with 3s1p KOKAM 3200 and also with 4s1p KOKAM 3200. The extra weight is ok, still easy to fly!

Hello,

tested my He-162 at Saturday with a 4s1p 2200 KOKAM. That reduced the weight by 140g! Very good performance now!

Left the HE-162 at my friends house for the paint job, photos in about 2 weeks!
