I have a Himax (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=674) HC2816-0890 and Phoenix 25 Brushless (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=1904) Motor system and a 3s 2100 LiPol.

Will these work in my original Vermont Bell (not the 1300)

Wingspan 41 in.
Wingarea 345 in²
Weight 21 oz.
Wingloading 9 oz/ft²
Airfoil symmetrical 9%

I want the performance but still have trouble matching plane to motor system so any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Looks good to me. I have a VB 1300 but I also have a Todd's Models attitude which is the same weight as your VB. On that I have the same battery and controller you will be using, but a geared Mega motor. I think the outrunner should work fine. You may want to buy a few different prop sizes and pitches to experiment with.
