Wow, good pic.

I like to see the kids get motivated for this stuff. We had kind of a slow night...maybe 25-30 kids? It was cold (25 degrees) but that never stopped us when we were kids.

Thanks Dave, it was slow here too... not real sure why as the weather was real nice. we had about the same as you did.

A lot of left over candy here... darn it...;)

Kind of weird, we were slower than normal too. Last year I counted just over 300 kids at our door. Ran out of candy by 7:00. Last night we probably had around 100 kids. The last few got some pretty big helpings of candy to empty the bucket. We don't like to have left overs. I have no will power.

Too much fear out there on the streets. Everyone gets paranoid when the news media headlines that a needle was found in an apple or Drano got into a cookie. Even if it happened 2000 miles away, man, it COULD happen here...

Naughty old men giving out candy... "Would you like a candy, little girl?" Aon and on it goes...

When I was a kid, every store sold fireworks: few kids got hurt (no one threw them at other kids!!!), few fires were started, and we were dealing with some fairly powerful stuff then. Lots of pranks, but if anyone got hurt, the kid suffered from the cops, the school and the parents, and we all learned from that!

Ah, well, I had hair back then, too......
