Hi gang,
I am working on my GP F6F and I can't seem to get the ailerons set up like the manual. I get even throw up and down. The manual wants 1/4" up and 1/8" down throw at low rates. How can I get this setting? I did have the usual problems with the aileron control pushrods... I eventually replaced one pushrod with Sullivan #517 pushrod tube and #7 SS leader wire for the pushrod. Let me know what you think.

Welcome to Watt Flyer Gary! Wonder why they want different throws on the aelirons? Have you tried to offset your servo arm?

This kit is known for having problems with the ailerons. There is much chatter on this subject in this forum. The search function should lead you there.

You don't need offset throw just have them go the same amount up and down.

This kit is known for having problems with the ailerons. They have resolved this on all models sold now - unless you had old stock.

This might help you out:

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the reply on the aileron issues. I will give those adjustments a try.
